About me

My name is Gehan Jia, I also go by Nancy. I am currently a senior undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) majoring in Math + CS. I am expected to graduate in May 2024.

I am planing to go into graduate study for Computer Science. My interest lies in Formal Methods.

Currently, I am working in Professor Gagandeep Singh’s FOCAL Lab as an undergraduate researcher. I am working with Yasmin Sarita on Pointer Analysis, a discipline that involves abstract logical concepts intended for practical use. I am now working with a mixed pool of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ and Soufflé. My goal is to improve scalability and precision of existing techniques.
