About me

My name is Gehan Jia, I also go by Nancy. I received my BS degree from UIUC in May 2024, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in Critical Film Production.

I began my MSCS program at UIUC in Fall 2024 and expect to graduate in Winter 2026. I hope to focus my thesis in the field of Formal Methods, while also exploring other directions such as Game Development.

Currently, I am working on an independent software development project in collaboration with research teams from the UIUC Psychology Department.

I am passionate about film production and am looking to combine my computer science knowledge with this creative discipline.
